– New NYC rule that updates FDNY requirements specific to portable fire extinguisher tags and practical information about construction site fire awareness, prevention and protection
Local Law 196 of 2017 requires certain workers and supervisors to receive safety training at construction sites that are required to designate a Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator or Site Safety Manager. The Department of Buildings has released the new Local Law 196 Site Safety Training Curriculum.
The new NYC rule that updates the requirements specific to portable fire extinguisher tags and commercial kitchen hood exhaust systems and the current requirements for fire protection during building demolition, construction and alterations.
