IN MEMORIAM: LAWRENCE WEISS

The Subcontractors Trade Association mourns the loss of Lawrence Weiss, our dear colleague, past president, and father of our current president, Robert Weiss.

Larry was born in Brooklyn in 1941. He attended Amherst College and received a law degree from Harvard University. After practicing law for eight years, Larry joined his father, Paul, at A.J. McNulty and Company, Inc. and Cranes, Inc., longtime family businesses in New York’s construction and crane rental industries. For the last 26 years, he was proud to have had his son, Rob, by his side. Larry was a highly-respected leader in the construction field, serving as officer, board member, and trustee on numerous industry associations. He was president of the Subcontractors Trade Association from 1987-1989.

His leadership in and dedication to our NYC construction industry will be missed.

In Larry’s memory, donations can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
