As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the STA has had to reimagine a few of our upcoming events. While it is disappointing that we won’t be able to meet in person, it is a time to take advantage of our technology connected world.
Our regularly scheduled June 2 Annual Membership Meeting will go on as planned as a virtual event. A panel of representatives from the leading general contractors will discuss their upcoming projects, industry trends and the COVID-19 response. Registration will open for this in the next few weeks. We ask that STA members put in a special effort to “attend” and participate on June 2 as the 2020-2021 Officers & Board of Directors will be elected at the beginning of the program.
Our 2020 slate of Breakfast Seminars dealing with issues and topics such as Filing Liens, BlueBeam, Local Law 196, and others, will also be presented as webinars for as long as need be.
Additionally, the STA Young Professionals committee is currently putting together a program for a virtual happy hour and other presentations. Please keep a look out for communications from that group on when and how to attend.
These events are free for our members. We want you to know we are here for you, we support you, and we will continue to do everything in our power to advocate for the subcontractor community during this time.
