STA is partnering with DeWalt to offer Anchor bolt training. The in-person hands-on training offers 1.5 hours of PDH credits and provides a live demo for the proper installation of mechanical and adhesive anchors and forced entry fasteners. The program will delve into the positives and negatives for each type of fastener, common selection decisions, and common field issues. In addition, the program will provide an introduction to new OSHA silica dust regulations and how this affects contractors installing concrete anchors.

Based on AFSP’s flagship suicide prevention education program, Talk Saves Lives: Construction is a new programthat has been adapted for the construction industry. Presented by a construction industry professional,this program will provide a 20-minute overview of suicide in the construction industry, risk factors and warning signs of suicide, and strategies to prevent it.
